Myths of Midnight
Vaesels are humanoid creatures that have long, slender bodies and short legs, and come in a variety of colors from reddish brown to snowy white, not unlike the giant weasel. As a race, Vaesels are generally mischievous and agile, therefor are natural adventures. Vaesels enjoy the company of likeminded individuals. It is not uncommon to find a small society of them among catfolk, ratfolk, or kitsune, but they do prefer other Vaesels. Despite the rapid rate at which they reproduce, Vaesels are a rare site in most societies. Other races can find them intrusive due to their overly friendly nature, and unique smell. Most Vaesels are carefree which lends them to take up more chaotic alignments. Due to their respect for life, and other living beings, Vaesels are seldom evil. The origins of the Vaesel and the similarities to the weasel still perplex scholars to this day.
